In 7th grade, I asked my mom if I could start a YouTube channel—she said yes, as long as she approved every video first (embarrassing, but fair).
I quickly fell in love with crafting stories and rotting behind the computer editing for long hours. I thought everyone loved it too—until I realized most creators dread post-production and would rather delegate it asap. Lucky for us!
In high school, I started editing videos for an internet friend, which led me to freelancing platforms and a year later, I graduated with a small roster of freelance clients that paid the bills – crazy!

you don’t need previous experience to join our program! we’ll show you how to build a portfolio from scratch, attract dream clients, and stand out — even if you’re just starting. + a lot of students join just to edit their own content, build a personal style, or finally learn how to make their videos feel the way they want them to feel.
is this course only for girly content?
we teach aesthetic editing — which often leans dreamy, soft, and cozy — but it’s not about one “look.”
we’ll help you create your own voice and visual vibe, whatever that ends up being.
what if I can’t finish it right away
no pressure at all — you get lifetime access to the course + all future updates. so whether you binge it in a weekend or take your sweet time, we’re here for it
module 0 and 1 will be available immediately after you purchase, and we will follow a drip schedule after where 2 modules are made available every week.
will i have access to live calls with Maia and the other students?
unfortunately, no. you will meet the other students and chat with everyone (including Maia and Deya) in real time via slack, but no live calls are included.
you can however buy a 1:1 call with Maia for +$100 where she provides feedback on your final project!
